This is a wonderful app for students that are studying the Human Body this year to take a chance to explore how things work and are put together without having to dissect something. It let's students explore the body's reaction to things they see, hear, smell, taste, eat, feel, and more. It shows what parts of the body systems react to different things. A great review HERE by a fellow tech nerd. I know most of us don't cover the body until the 2nd or 3rd 9 weeks, but I am sharing now because it is free for the next day or so.
So I was doing some APP research today and discovered a wonderful help to help with Phonics An awesome review by a fellow tech nerd can be found HERE. This App is Free comes highly recommended by SLPs (speech language pathologists). You can add several players and keep track of their progress. Or they can play as a guest. They practice sounds and can even record themselves saying the words. You can mark them correct or incorrect and they can see how they are doing! It is neat and even includes great practice on blends. You can also combine several skills in one letter that they need to work on.....awesome for differentiation! Try it out! |
