My student have been using KidBlog this year to post Writing to my Blog to summarize units when we can. We have done a few units and this time I think they are really starting to show their thinking!!! Check out these comments by some of my 5th grade students.
Fifth grade students have been discovering how and why water moves through the Earth. They made songs to show the Water Cycle process. Check out some of the finished products.
TOONTASTIC allows students to create awesome cartoon movies about any topic using their own characters and settings. Teachers and students have had so much FUN using Toontastic that they just don't want to stop!! Check out some of the stories that we have made!!
My fourth graders have been working on exploring the 3 different types of rocks and how they are formed. We made Keynote presentations about a rock and each student had to research the luster, colors, location, and important facts about their rocks. Then they used pictures and the information to turn it into a presentation. Check some of them out! In Keynote they added some awesome animations that you won't get to see here, but trust me...these kiddos made some great looking presentations that looked like a professional made them!
